	Field Day


	Field day is an opportunity to see amateur radio in action. SCARC has participated in the ARRL's Field Day exercises each year for over 10 years. Field day runs from 1pm Saturday through 1pm Sunday on the fourth full weekend of June (28th-29th, 2008 in the parking lot of the Georgian Place).


	For the past few years, the club's field day activities take place in the parking lot of the Georgian Place outlets in the parking lot above Sheetz. We invite the public to come and see ham radio's capabilities and learn how to get their own FCC radio license before the next disaster strikes.


	The public is most cordially invited to come, meet and talk with the hams. See what modern Amateur Radio can do. They can even help you get on the air!
